During summer time, we are in need for temperature reduction, thus we sweat more and seek for cold. Food wise, we consume more water and cold food.

Nature produces fruits and veggies that help the human body to maintain its homeostasis during each season. During summer, food and drink with cooling effects are needed. That’s the reason why summer fruits and vegetables are full of water. For example, tomatoes are 95% water, low in sodium and full of potassium that regulates blood pressure. On the other hand, butter squash is a source of calcium, iron, phosphorus, and copper, nutrients needed during winter time. Nature knows and has all the systems to always stay in balance. All we need to do is to follow her paradigm, come closer to her and make choices accordingly.
